#90 Book List
More on this here - and more than I expected when I first added it to this list
# 82 Check out Mobile Blogging
Did - can't do it here in the UK - only available in the US
Shame ;-(
#4 Reduce B.M.I.
So, when I started this, my BMI was 31.7 - or Class 1 obese
Today, it's down to 30.4 !
Which is only just outside Overweight
Can't say I've been doing much to drop it - unless you count countless sprints (of course you can't, if they're "countless") to the commode* - but it's a starting point . . .
I think I deserve a few beers to celebrate!
.
.
.
But hang on!
That means I'd have to lose another 16 Kilos!
or 2 Stone!!
- Bugger the beers! Where's the whisky?
*The reasons for that may be explained another time
#74 Get Bike back on the road
Yes! Finally, after over a year, my cherished Hog; that male sign of passing years, slipping gears, mortality fears; my Mid-Life anti-crisis; the beast (well, not quite - it's a baby, really) is back: running, rocking, rolling & rattling
Out of commision due to house redevelopment - a ditch across the garden caused forced imprisonment - my baby is back - almost 5 years to the day of buying it. And it was typical: I bought it on a day with crap wet weather and got it tested & legal again on the same sort of day. I hope it's not an omen.
Freemind - Mind Mapping s/w
Came across this a while ago & found it really useful for working out what steps need to be taken to complete a project.
Freemind
If you're aware of what Mind Mapping is, it'll makes sense.
If you're not, you should definitely take a look & try it
The clever thing (or one of them) with this package is that once you've developed a mind map, you can export it to different formats (html, xhtml, Document, or Image) - really cool
And it helps fill out the 101
So far
Not sure I'm doing this right - I seem to be spending more time adding to the list rather than taking any off.
So -
To-do = 75 (so much for 101!)
Done = 3
Ah well
